東京藝術大学大学院古楽科(チェンバロ専攻)を首席で修了。アムステルダム音楽院チェンバロ科およびフォルテピアノ科にて学ぶ(2009年度文化庁新進芸術家海外研修員)。第21回古楽コンクール山梨において最高位受賞。帰国後は、2014年よりチェンバロのリサイタル・シリーズを続けるほか、フォルテピアノ、クラヴィコード、ポジティフオルガン等様々な鍵盤楽器に取組み、ソリスト、また通奏低音・アンサンブル奏者として活躍。気鋭の音楽家たちと共に意欲的なプログラムに取組み、活動の幅を広げるほか、後進の指導にも力を注いでいる。桐朋学園芸術短期大学非常勤講師、お茶の水女子大学・古楽集中講座アシスタント、BEATA&BELUGAチェンバロ・クラヴィコードクラス講師。

Chiaki Omura is one of the leading harpsichordists of her generation in Japan and performs throughout the country as a soloist, as a chamber musician and as a continuo player. Her repertoire as a harpsichordist covers renaissance to contemporary music, and classic to romantic on early pianos.
She studied piano at the Ochanomizu University in Tokyo where she obtained both of BMus and MMus. She then pursued her studies in harpsichord at the Graduate school of Tokyo University of the Arts, and graduated with the Acanthus Prize in 2011. She completed her studies of harpsichord with Bob van Asperen and fortepiano with Richard Egarr at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. In 2007, Chiaki was awarded the top prize at the 21st International Early Music Competition in Yamanashi. She was a recipient of the fellowship from the National Agency of Cultural Affairs of Japan 2009-2010. Chiaki is an enthusiastic and experienced teacher and teaches at Toho College of Drama and Music.
